Junior Karex Toothpaste contains BioHAP – the substance our teeth are made of – as its main active ingredient. This is along the lines of nature and thus follows a biomimetic mode of action. BioHAP is the abbreviation for the scientific term “biomimetic hydroxyapatite”.
The formulation, i.e. composition, of Junior Karex Toothpaste with BioHAP cleans primary and permanent teeth gently and thoroughly at the same time. Through daily brushing, even small defects in the enamel can be repaired by the active ingredient BioHAP and a protective layer is formed on the teeth. This protective layer makes it more difficult for bacteria to adhere to the teeth.
At the same time, BioHAP as a source of calcium, effectively prevents caries. In the event of an acid attack, calcium is released and the teeth are protected from an attack by caries bacteria (remineralization). Junior Karex Toothpaste thus protects against caries even in hard-to-reach places, e.g. for those wearing braces. Usually, plaque cannot be removed sufficiently around the braces.
The formula was especially developed for the needs of older children with primary and permanent dentition. Allantoin soothes and protects irritated gums caused by teeth coming through and wearing braces.

JUNIOR KAREX ingredients and their function
During the development of Junior Karex Toothpaste, special care was taken to use only the most necessary ingredients. Junior Karex Toothpaste contains BioHAP as the main active ingredient and is fluoride-free and contains no sodium lauryl sulfate.
